Body contouring is the technique of reshaping your body by removing excess of fat and cellulite
which stand unresponsive to diet and exercise.
There are a number of surgical and nonsurgical treatments to performing body contouring. The type of treatment mode to be chosen depends on your body type and body shaping goals.
What is body contouring?
Body contouring refers to any procedure that helps remove excess skin and fat in problem areas. This also includes tightening skin and reducing the appearance of cellulite. There are many ways to contour your body safely and without the need for risky and painful surgery. There are four primary non-invasive body contouring methods that can help people tighten and tone their body. These include:
- Laser-like Lipo (LED treatments)
- Infrared Light Lipo
- Cryolipolysis (cold lipo)
- Laser Lipo
- Radio frequency lipo
All of these methods are available in non-surgical and non-invasive treatments. However, all of them essentially use similar methods for body contouring. Each of these treatments interacts with fat cells. The laser, LED, infrared or radio frequency treatments stimulate fat cells. This stimulation actually melts the fatty portion of the cell. After the fat is melted out of the cell, it goes back into the body to be burned as energy. This is why most body contouring procedures are accompanied by a full body vibration or similar technique to burn off the fat that is melted by the machine.
However, body contouring procedures do not just work to melt fat. When coupled with the fat burning, the skin tightening and cellulite reducing machines will ensure that your body looks tight and contoured once the weight and fat are removed.
What are the benefits of body contouring?
As opposed to surgical treatments, such as surgical liposuction treatments, many of the state-of-the-art body contouring machines can provide an effective treatment without the expense or risks involved with similar surgical treatments.
One of the primary benefits of using a body contouring machine instead of resorting to a surgical procedure is that the body contouring machines can accomplish the same goals without the adverse risk of surgery. These risks include:
- Dangers from anesthesia
- Blot clots
- Bleeding problems
- Difficulty breathing
- Death
